The fact that colours play a prominent role in Josephine Reich's universe, Jore Copenhagen, is difficult to overlook. Here, you won't find any white walls, but rather vibrant surfaces that create a personal frame and backdrop for Josephine's distinctive lamps, glassware, and cushions.

Recently, when Josephine decided to give the showroom a colourful makeover, she chose the Trend Notes® colour Sunday Funk, as the golden shade, according to Josephine, brings joy and light to the otherwise slightly dark space. The ceiling was painted in Eyes in Skies from the Essential Notes® collection to create a blue sky and evoke the feeling of a warm summer day. Blue, in particular, is Josephine's go-to colour, one she always returns to when in doubt.

Blue makes me happy. It is an easy colour I will never grow tired of.

Pop Around.

Despite the small number of square meters, there is ample room for exploration. The inspiration continues into the next room, where Pop Around has been given a prominent role. This vibrant green colour has become one of Josephine's favourite shades because it is eccentric, quirky, and whimsical. Its ability to serve as the perfect backdrop for paintings, Jore's lamps, and rugs has made Josephine yearn to bring the colour into her own home.

I have grown so fond of Pop Around that I might have to paint my living room in the same colour.

For Josephine, colours and shapes are always at the forefront, and she loves using colours as a surprising element. When faced with the choice between a safe colour and a daring colour choice, Josephine always opts for the daring one. This applies to her creative product development, showroom decoration, and even her wardrobe, where colours create a space for her to freely express her personality.

Despite having recently given her showroom a colourful makeover, it won't be long before new colours are being experimented with. New colours help keep the creative environment alive. Currently, Josephine draws inspiration from the colours of the Bauhaus style, which are classic bold colours. A monochromatic space, where all surfaces are painted in dark purple, is also on the list for the next painting project.

For me, colours are personality, playfulness and happiness.
