Calm nuances from the Essential Notes® collection have created the warm setting that allows Kristin and her boyfriend to play with colourful contrasts, art, and natural materials.
In a secluded area of the Frederiksberg neighbourhood in Copenhagen, you will find Kristin and her boyfriend Danni's home. The 90-square-metre apartment has views of green spaces, is situated on a quiet side road, and enjoys beautiful natural light. A year ago, when the couple first saw the apartment, they were particularly taken with the spacious kitchen, which offered the opportunity to create a cosy dining area for dinners with close friends and for tranquil evenings at home.

Kristin's colour palette consists of three tranquil shades from the Essential Notes® collection, along with Notes White on the woodwork and ceilings. Sand in Shoes in the kitchen is complemented by Double Truffle in both the bedroom and the living room, from where you can enjoy Eyes in Skies in the ensuite guest room.
My thought was that the colours could create a pleasant sensation and make one feel inclined to spend time in the different rooms and feel at home.
It's important to me that the colours complement each other without being identical, so they can contrast with some stronger accent colours.
